Colds and hairspray
Aug. 12th, 2003 11:52 pmWell, I have a cold. Or a cough, rather. Mother-fuck, what is _with_ these goddamned coughs?
Anyway, I took today off work because of it.
And because, just now, I saw Hairspray!
It was effing awesome, yo. Harvey Fierstein is hilarious; the Marissa Janet Winokaur replacement was almost exactly the same, as far as I could tell; Seaweed is the coolest guy ever and I wish i could be him when I grew up; and I developed an inexplicable crush on Penny at the end (from the bed-tying on). Might've been the cleavage, might've been the fact that she was making out with 'me'.
(Author's note: I don't want to be a boy. I want to be a cool black teenager who can dance crazy, sing well, start intergration riots and be with Penny. So there).
