I was recently pondering the nature of friendship (as I usally am). The funny thing is, whenever I do this I never think about my friendship with Hensche and the Fluffball. I take it for granted.
See, at school, I'll talk to Zack and John Garnevicus during the day. I'll talk to the other ADs (Jaya, Rie, Willa, Annie, Sarah Dolan) after school--also the fencers (David Tay, Sean, Rebecca, Julia, Jamie, Jamie's sister). But I don't consider these people my friends?
Would I feel like I had more of a camaradarie with them if I came out to them?
I don't think so. I came out to a couple of kids at landmark and they were awkward with me (and one of them had a lesbian sister!)
But at Med-o-lark, I came out to the whole cabin and nobody was weird about it. Well... yeah, nobody. (Way too many people at school went to Med-o-lark. I keep seeing people wearing my sweatshirt... its freaking me out, man!)
And I think I'm already out to Sean. I'm not entirely sure...
